Welcome To The A&M Collective

Welcome to the A&M Collective

The A&M Collective is a recurring four-year program designed to connect Black male undergraduate students to one another and to the larger network of Black male faculty, staff, administrators, and graduate students. The Collective hosts regular meetings to discuss the most relevant and critical issues affecting the Black male experience at Texas A&M University and beyond. The program seeks to motivate and empower Black males by helping to increase peer mentoring and networking opportunities, building better connections with faculty and staff, and promoting various leadership competencies, therefore assisting in their overall personal and professional growth.

Peer Group Breakout Sessions

Periodically, the Collective will host additional opportunities to engage in dialogue. Breakout sessions focus on current issues, hot topics, and simply seek to further build community.

Monthly Workshops

Monthly Meetings Collective meetings provide completely open space for men to speak freely and discuss the issues that are often not addressed elsewhere. Participants will attend conversations featuring prominent former students, faculty, staff, and community leaders as facilitators. Topics will focus on the complexities of Black Masculinity, community, relationships and much more. more>>
