Community of Respect - Student facilitators

Overview
The Department of Multicultural Services is in search of dynamic and articulate students to fill 4 paid student assistant positions to facilitate the Community of Respect program during the summer New Student Conferences. Students must be comfortable presenting to large groups (700+) on scripted topics of diversity. Students must be able to facilitate a one- hour long session each Tuesday and Thursday morning between 10AM and 12:30 PM (time includes set up and tear down) beginning June 4th – August 19th. There will be a break the week of July 21st and August 4th-15th. Students will be paid $10 an hour for on average 6 hours of work a week.

Training
Students will be trained on the topics of diversity and group facilitation skills. Training will take place on Thursdays from 5-7 PM beginning late March through the end of April. All training times will be compensated.
