The program will serve as a recognition ceremony and the annual closing event for the A&M Collective. We will acknowledge graduating seniors, as well as present awards to the most outstanding participants over the course of the year. Semi-formal or business attire is required and all attendees must RSVP by Monday, April 28, 2009 as space is limited. **Participants are also encouraged to invite one male that was most influential in their lives as a guest for the dinner.**

Dr. Walter M. Kimbrough, Ph.D.

Dr Walter

Dr. Walter M. Kimbrough is the 12th president of Philander Smith College in Little Rock, Arkansas. As the first college president from the hip-hop generation, he is one of the youngest college presidents in the nation. Widely known for his book, “Black Greek 101: The Culture, Customs and Challenges of Black Fraternities and Sororities,” Dr. Kimbrough has given over 350 presentations on Black Greek life at numerous campuses and conferences. He was selected as a 2001 Nissan-ETS HBCU Fellow, and a 2002 participant in the Millennium Leadership Initiative sponsored by the American Association of State Colleges and Universities.
