Women engineers have participated in the profession and shaped the development of American technology for over a century. This Cultural Day Trip, sponsored by the Women's Resource Center and the Department of Multicultural Services, will focus on the contributions of women to the field of engineering. We also will touch on the challenges and triumphs women who defy traditional gender roles experience within their respective cultures. In addition we will visit The African American Museum in the Dallas Fair grounds. Participants will have an opportunity to visit many other exhibits of their choice.
