Program: Excellence uniting Culture, Education and Leadership (ExCEL)
Purpose:
The purpose of ExCEL is to assist first-year students and their
parents in making a smooth transition from high school to Texas A&M
University. The goals of ExCEL are: 1) Encouraging students through
high school to college challenges. 2) Fostering a community where
students can culturally identify. 3) Forging new relationships and
integrating into life at Texas A&M. 4) Providing resources about
various campus opportunities. 5) Building a support system through
upper-class students as peer mentors.
