CLUES

CLUES (Culture Leadership Understanding and Exploration for Scholars)

is a learning community developed by the department and Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communications. CLUES is a course-credited program for students focusing on learning around social, cultural, and global competence.

This learning community is a means of cluing students in on life-changing knowledge and skills that will positively impact their lives.

About CLUES

This course is divided into two semesters: a three-hour course in the Fall semester and a three-hour course in the Spring semester. The classroom curriculum experience will be brought to life through co-curricular activities such as interacting with major Texas A&M administrators, sampling food from all over the world, and attending performances.

Over the years students have shared:

  • +90% increase in confidence around leadership and global awareness.
  • A stronger sense of clarity about their leadership style.
  • New skills in problem-solving, decision-making, and teamwork.
  • Real-world application of learning in internships, military roles, and community leadership opportunities.
  • “CLUES taught me that leadership isn’t about control, but about creating the conditions for those you lead to succeed.”

CLUES is your opportunity to grow as a leader, connect with peers, and prepare for what comes next at Texas A&M and beyond.
