Explorations provide experiences through one-day trips where students visit sites in a variety of cities in Texas.  Explorations promote learning by providing an environment that fully recognizes, values, and integrates experience into the pursuit of learning.  Sites of Explorations can offer a variety of experiences including museums, festivals, theater productions, famous attractions, fairs, nature destinations, notable sites, cuisine, and more!

Students travel as one community via charter bus to the site destinations and back to Aggieland.  Trip registration closes on the Wednesday preceding each trip or as capacity is reached. Once registered, students will be emailed an itinerary the Thursday before the trip.

Howdy! Please join DMS as we embark on our Explorations trip to San Antonio & New Braunfels. We will visit the San Antonio Museum of Art! We will explore the current exhibitions and their permanent collection. After we leave San Antonio, we will head to New Braunfels to experience the annual Dia De Los Muertos Festival. There will be a variety of vendors, performances, and food that participants can enjoy. We would love to have you take a part in this exciting Explorations trip.
