Unlock Your Potential. Invest in Your Growth. Lead with Confidence.

The Level-up 2 Lead (L2L) Initiative offers a dynamic, student-centered, three-pronged pathway to leadership development.  The  L2L Initiative develops personal and professional skills to enhance the capacity for leader effectiveness.  The initiative consists of L2L Summits (conference-style experience during the fall and spring), L2L Coaching (personalized 1-on-1 session) and L2L Workshops (1-hour timeframe offered across 4 Levels).  The focus of the initiative is to provide a blend of learning, marketable skill development, and practical application impacting students’ leadership capacities.

L2L Skill Growth: Build the Leader in You

Whether a student participates in a single Coaching session, attends a skill-building Workshop, or takes part in a full Summit experience, every step they take builds valuable skills that prepare them for what’s next.  The initiative meets students where they are, as they strengthen core leadership competencies at their own pace, through multiple formats, and experiencing opportunities to:

  • Grow their confidence in high-impact areas like communication, collaboration, problem-solving, professionalism, critical thinking, and teamwork, skills that employers value and life demands.
  • Build the tools and mindset to step into leadership with clarity and purpose.
  • Gain practical insights on how to articulate skills and experiences in ways that resonate, whether for an internship application, job interview, or scholarship opportunity.

L2L Workshops – Year-Round Opportunities for Growth

L2L Workshops are offered across four levels of learning and development, with current offerings outlined below.  Workshops are available throughout the fall (Levels 1 & 2) and spring (Levels 3 & 4) and all levels are highlighted during our signature fall and spring L2L Summits.  Students can experience an L2L Workshop scheduled on specific dates (published by the start of each fall and spring).  Student organizations and campus units can also REQUEST A L2L WORKSHOP at any time and staff will work to accommodate the request.
